Samrat Prithviraj Telugu Dubbed Movie Review: Akshay Kumar is one of the biggest heroes in Bollywood as he created a history of collecting 1000 crores with his film per year, However, he is one the busiest actors in B-Town as many films has in his pipeline and all are about release one by one and Samrat Prithviraj is one among them, the film mired in controversy regarding the title as the initial title was Prithviraj but Rajputs demanded to change the title, Despite the fact, the film has finally released today June 03, 2022, with humongous expectations, as Akshay Kumar’s first historical film so expectations are at the top, well without any delay lets get into the in-depth review of the film and let’s know whether the film lives up to the expectations are not.
Story
Prithviraj Chauhan(Akashy Kumar) is the king of the Chahamanas Dynasty he is being crowned as the king of Delhi, as Sultan Muhammad of Ghor wants the crown of Delhi as he starts a war with Prithviraj Chauhan and Prithviraj decided to face against Sultan Muhammad with his right hand Chandh Vardai(Sonu Sood). Finally, how Prithviraj fought for his crown is the rest of the tale.

Movie Verdict
We have seen many historical films over the years and what’s good about the historical films is people get to know about unsung heroes, as Prithviraj Chauhan was the greatest king of the Chauhan dynasty, the movie is all about his virtue and valor in the war field and makers have succeeded to some extent showing his bravery but if we talk about the story as per the cinematic experience,, as it has nothing offers you new, the film starts off well but the graph falls flat after 20 minutes as it feels like watching a series because of the romantic track of Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chillar but it Prithviraj engages you with war scenes.
Akshay Kumar as Prithviraj Chauhan is brilliant there is no negative about his acting that we can point out but in most of the scenes he looks so unreal as his makeup could have been better, and Sonu Sood as Chand is just okay and Manushi Chillar made her debut with this film and as a princess, she looks beautiful but there is no scope to perform and rest of the cast did their part well.
Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi the captain of the ship and partly succeeded in making the film as he could have been written a bit tight screenplay so that audience might be engaged with the film as he mostly focused on his bravery and that worked out well but as a director, he failed to impress the audience.
Technical Samrat Prithviraj looks great as production values are top notch and Manushnandan’s visuals are good but it could have been better and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy music is one of the biggest backbones of the film, they never disappoint with their background score and in Prithviraj, they saved a lot of scenes with their background music and rest of the cast did their part well.
Finally, Samrat Prithviraj is a one-time watch, if you are a fan of Akshay Kumar then you can give it a try.
