Ranbir Kapoor Upcoming Movies: Ranbir Kapoor, who came from a family of performers, developed into a good actor with each film and garnered a sizable following across the nation. After the huge success of “Sanju,” the actor spent nearly three years working on Brahmastra, and his most recent picture, “Shamshera,” was a complete failure. Even though Brahmastra performed well throughout the opening weekend, he is currently earning lower sums during the week and is ultimately proving to be another failure in his filmography.
After a few setbacks in his early career, the actor quickly bounced back, and in Imtiaz Ali’s drama film Rockstar in 2011, he delivered an award-winning performance. Ranbir was already a leading actor in Bollywood the following year, but his role in the romantic comedy Barfi! cemented his reputation. After Barfi!, his first movie to earn over a billion rupees, became a critical and commercial success, the actor’s career took off. Ayan Mukerji’s 2013 film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani featured one of his best acting performances. The film earned almost three billion rupees, making it one of Bollywood’s highest-grossing films ever.
However, a slew of disappointments followed Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’s popularity. Besharam, an action comedy released in 2013, failed to live up to expectations, both critically and commercially. After taking a year off, the actor reappeared in Tamasha, Roy, and Bombay Velvet by Anurag Kashyap. None of these films performed well at the domestic box office, despite the fact that he was nominated for Best Actor at the 2015 Filmfare Awards for his performance in Tamasha.
