Verdict

The series starts off well with an interesting sequence, after that the series starts getting little bit slow because the director took a lot of time to establish all the characters. when the murders happened the series gets interesting and the maker succeeded in maintaining the thrill and suspense throughout the series. it’s not easy to engage the series, every episode should create the curiosity to watch the next episode. and this series will keep hooked you throughout the series.

Radhika Sarathkumar doing quite good projects in Telugu in recent times and as a Sarasvathi she is just killed it, and you’ll be blown away with her character nuances and the twist in the climax, Sai Kumar also did a good job and he emotes well in the emotional scenes, Chandini Chowdary is a good actor, somehow she has not got a proper role and in this series also there is no scope for her character and rest of the cast did their part well.

Sharan Koppisetty was introduced as a director with the film called Kirik Party which was a remake of a Kannada film and again he did another movie with Satydev called Thimmarusu which was also a remake film and suddenly he shifted to make an OTT debut with the web series called Gaalivaana and this series also is an adaption of a British web series, remakes apart he brilliantly adapted it and executed well, the suspense in the tale and the twist about the family members will blow your mind in the climax and he designed it so well.

The cinematography was quite impressive, though the series is set in a village, the visuals are stunning and kudos to  Sujatha Siddharth the music is also done well but in some scenes, the bgm could have been better. rest technical crew did well.

Finally, the Gaalivaana web series is a worth watching web series, you can binge-watch the series because once the series starts you will never get bored.don’t miss it available on Zee5.
