In 1990, Nag Ashwin was born in Hyderabad. Dr. L. Jayanthi Reddy and Dr. Jayaram Reddy are his parents. Nag Ashwin was very smart and sneaky even when he was very young. At the New Work Film Academy, he took a course on how to direct movies. Since he was young, he had always been excited about movies and wanted to work in the business. Nag Ashwin got his start in the movie business as an assistant director for the movie Nenu Meeku Thelusa. Later, he worked with Sekhar Kammula on the movies Leader and Life is Beautiful as an assistant director. After that, he became a director for the first time with the movie Yevade Subramanyam, which got a lot of good reviews. But it was the movie Mahanati that made him famous. Project-K is the third movie that Prabhas and Deepika Padukone are making together. Nag Ashwin is directing it, and Vyjayanthi Movies is making it.
