Telangana COVID Vaccination For Students Going Abroad: ఉన్నత విద్య కోసం విదేశాలకు వెళ్లే విద్యార్థులకు వ్యాక్సినేషన్ విషయంలో ప్రాధాన్యత ఇస్తున్నట్లు ఐటీ పురపాలక శాఖ మంత్రి కేటీఆర్ వెల్లడించారు. ఈ మేరకు ఆయన ట్విట్టర్ వేదికగా ట్వీట్ చేశారు. ఈ ప్రతిపాదనకు కేబినెట్ ఆమోదం తెలిపినట్లు వెల్లడించారాయన. విదేశాలకు వెళ్లే విద్యార్థులకు వ్యాక్సిన్ ఇస్తే వారు సురక్షితంగా ప్రయాణం చేసే అవకాశం ఉంటుందని, దీనిపై త్వరలోనే మార్గదర్శకాలు విడుదల చేస్తామని తెలిపారు.

తెలంగాణ‌లోని ప్ర‌తీ ఒక్క‌రికి ఉచితంగా వ్యాక్సిన్ ఇవ్వాల‌ని ప్రభుత్వం నిర్ణ‌యించిన విష‌యం విదిత‌మే. అయితే ఉన్నత విద్య కోసం విదేశాలకు వెళ్లే విద్యార్థులకు వ్యాక్సినేష‌న్‌లో ప్రాధాన్యత ఇస్తామ‌ని ఐటీ, పురపాలక శాఖ మంత్రి కేటీఆర్ ట్వీట్ చేశారు. ఈ ప్రతిపాదనకు కేబినెట్ ఆమోదం తెలిపినట్లు మంత్రి పేర్కొన్నారు. విదేశాలకు వెళ్లే విద్యార్థులకు వ్యాక్సిన్ ఇస్తే వారు సురక్షితంగా ప్రయాణం చేసే అవకాశం ఉంటుందని ఆయన వెల్లడించారు. వ్యాక్సినేషన్ ప్ర‌క్రియ‌పై త్వరలోనే మార్గదర్శకాలు విడుదల చేస్తామని కేటీఆర్ చెప్పారు.
నారాయణగూడలోని ఇన్స్టిట్యూట్ ఆఫ్ ప్రివెంటివ్ మెడిసిన్ (ఐపిఎం) లో ఉన్నత విద్య కోసం విదేశాలకు వెళ్లే విద్యార్థులకు టీకాలు వేయడానికి ప్రత్యేక సదుపాయాన్ని తెరవాలని ప్రభుత్వం ఆదివారం కేబినెట్ తీర్మానించింది. ఈ విద్యార్థుల సౌలభ్యం కోసం ఆన్‌లైన్ స్లాట్ బుకింగ్ విధానం జూన్ 4 న ప్రారంభించబడుతుంది. ఈ సౌకర్యం కోసం లింక్ https://www.health.telangana.gov.in లో అందుబాటులో ఉంటుంది. టీకాలు ప్రారంభిస్తామని, జూన్ 5 నుంచి స్లాట్లు లభిస్తాయని ఒక ప్రకటన తెలిపింది.

The Telugu states of AP and Telangana have a very high number of students, who travel abroad to pursue higher education. The students were worried now because despite their admission to universities, there was uncertainty as most of them had not yet been vaccinated. At the state cabinet meeting on May 31, it was decided to prioritize vaccinations for students going abroad for higher education.
The Telangana state government has announced that from June 5, the COVID-19 vaccination programme for students going abroad will be rolled out. A separate facility for vaccination of students going abroad for higher education is proposed to be launched in the Institute of Preventive Medicine (IPM), Narayanguda, Hyderabad. An online slot booking system for the convenience of these students is being developed and will be rolled out on June 4. Vaccination will commence and slots will be available from June 5.
