Adipurush Review: Prabhas hasn’t had much success since Bahubali, with his past two films, Sahoo and Radhe Shyam, failing to wow audiences. Despite the fact that his two films did not fare well, his celebrity and craze did not suffer. So, the film ‘Adipurush’ has been in the news ever since it was revealed; of course, Prabhas is one of the reasons, and this film is also the most expensive in Indian cinema. The film has been released around the world, carrying huge expectations, and now let us get into the in-depth review and find out whether the picture is worth viewing or not.

Verdict
The directors of Adipurush have stated that the film is “based” on the epic Ramayana, but Om Rout does not strive to reveal something new; instead, he presents a verbal rendition to the big screen. Yet, the film contains thrilling and mind-boggling situations that will keep us riveted to our seats from beginning to end. As the tension in the proceedings ebbs and flows, there are some jaw-dropping situations in both parts of the film that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Because it is a Ramayana, a broader audience will undoubtedly engage with the film, regardless of its quality. We may detect errors in the film, yet despite the plodding storyline, the sequence of events allows us to experience the Ramayan. The film has received criticism for having weak VFX; there are some poor VFX in the picture, but there are also some fantastic action scenes that the VFX crew masterfully produced. Despite its shortcomings, Adipurush remains a must-see for the cinematic experience.
When it comes to performances, Prabhas‘ portrayal as Raghava stands out; he is too outstanding in action moments as well as several critical scenes. Kriti Sanon as Sita is good because she had the most screen time and used it well, Sunny Singh as Laxman is okay, and the rest of the actors tried their best.
OM Rout deserves credit for presenting this tale to the audience; he was successful in captivating the audience, but he didn’t show anything new. He simply told the story that everyone knows, and while Adipurush is a theatrical experience film if the story had been much stronger, the film may have become unforgettable.
Adipurush is okay technically, Karthik Palani is one of the film’s main positive points, and Ajay-Atul took the film to another level with their background score.
Nevertheless, despite its imperfections, Adipurush is a must-see film for a cinematic experience.
