Salaar movie digital rights were acquired by Netflix and premiered on 20 January 2024. salaar has a stellar cast across languages Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran is playing the crucial role called Vardharaja Mannaar as he has been busy with his upcoming films like Kaapa and Khalifa will hit the screens soon and his first look of Salaar was terrifying, Jagapathi Babu is playing the character called  Raja Manaar and he is been also part of films like Upendra’s Kabza, Malayalam film called Voice of Sathyanadhan and Salman Khan film called Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi KI Jaanthe leading lady Shruthi Hasan playing a journalist role called Aadhya as she’s also been a part of Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya and Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy.

Prabhas was last seen in Radhe Shyam, helmed by Radha Krishna Kumar. It was made with a whopping budget, but the film didn’t do well. Story: 

As of now, the makers haven’t divulged what the story is about but as per the sources, Salaar is a completely action-packed movie. Rumour surrounded that Salaar is a remake of Prashanth Neel’s Debut Movie Ugramm. But Neel Later denied the rumors and said that this original story was written for only Prabhas and the story revolves around the Illegal mining mafia.
