M. Keeravani got her start in 1987 as K. Chakravarthy’s assistant when he was a famous composer. In the 1980s, he was in films like Collectorgari Abbayi and Bharathamlo Arjunudu. In the 1990 movie Kalki, he played a struggling musician, which was supposed to be his big break. The next year, he made his first movie, Manasu Mamatha, which most people think was directed by Mouli.
