On January 19, 1990, Varun Tej was born in Hyderabad, Telangana. His mother’s name is Padmaja, and his father’s name is Nagendra Babu, who is an actor and producer. Niharika Konidela is the name of his sister. He is related to the actors Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Allu Sirish, Sai Teja, and Panja Vaishnav Tej.

Nagendra Babu is Varun Tej’s father. He is a producer and actor in the Telugu language. He is the nephew of both Pawan Kalyan and Chiranjeevi, who are also actors. Tej’s first movie role was in Hands Up!, which was made by his father Nagendra Babu when he was only 10 years old.
