Movie Verdict
Kalapuram movie plot is quite interesting as it mostly connects with those who struggle to make a film and apart from that the film has a lot of elements that none of the elements engages you, though there are a bunch of well-known comedy stars it failed to hook the audience.
well, the movie starts off interestingly by showcasing filmmaker’s struggles to find a producer but later it shifted to a regular commercial zone as we get to see non-sinc comedy, unnecessary characters all these nothing helps to the proceedings, second half of the film engages you for a while when the Satyam Rajesh starts making a film in Kalapuram village but it is also doesn’t engage for long and climax is predictable.
Satyam Rajesh shines in his role and he shows his mettle with his performance, Jabaradast Apparao justified his role and Chitram Seenu is okay and the rest of the cast did their part well as per the story requires.
Karuna Kumar pics up an interesting plot but he completely failed in presenting it on a big screen, the screenplay could have been better and he failed in landing the core emotion in the film.
Technically Kalapuram is okay as Prasad G.K’s visuals are partly good and Manisharma saved the film with his background score and the rest of the technical departments did well.
Finally, Kalapuram is a one-time watch film and if you have nothing left to watch then you can give it a try.
