Navdeep starrer Love Mouli has generated good buzz with the teaser and trailer among the audience. The makers have held a few premiere shows in selective places and the response was great.
Love Mouli is about Mouli (Navdeep), who is a painter and doesn’t believe in love. One day, an agora gave him a magical painting brush and Mouli created a woman. The woman is chitra (Pankhuri Gidwani), Mouli falls in love with her and what happens next is the rest of the film.
The film starts on a good note but later, the slow-paced narration tests our patience. The first half has good moments but the pace could have been racy. From the interval block to the climax, it is good to watch.
Navdeep as Mouli is phenomenal, his makeover of the Mouli character deserves appreciation. Pankhuri is good and she has a good scope to perform.
Avaneendra succeeded in presenting this film the way he wanted, but whether the general audience understands his storytelling process is a big question. Despite a few flaws, he did his best.
Visuals and music are big assets for the film. Overall, Love Mouli caters to a few sections of the audience.
