Goli Soda Rising digital rights were bagged by Hotstar, and the series hit the OTT space on 13 September 2024. Director Cheran, known for his sensible films, stars in the series alongside actor Shaam. Cheran is said to play a restricted role with a significant impact. Actor Shaam, who has been stunning the public with his passion to acting, will appear in another prominent part in the series. He was grappling with failures from the previous years and had tried his luck in other languages as well. He made his Telugu debut with the film “Kick” starring Raviteja, which was later remade in Tamil.

This section appears to be more interesting because it features a few young actors making their debuts as well as established performers like Cheran and Shaam. The trailer also elevated the audience’s expectations with its raw and rustic presentation. Madhusudhan Rao, who played a key role in the previous film, reprises his role in this series. The actress appears to be playing actor Shaam’s wife in this film, based on the teaser.

Another actress, Abhirami, plays an important role in the series. She’s started appearing in more films recently. She was gone from the cinema for a decade after her appearance in the classic “Virumaandi” as Annalakshmi, which starred Kamal Haasan.
