After a decent hit with Urvasivo Rakshasivo, Allu Sirish came up with Buddy. Buddy is an official remake of the tamil movie Teddy starring Arya.
However, after watching the film, I knew that the makers had taken only the core idea, and the remaining is a fresh story.
Pilot Adithya Ram ( Allu Sirish) fell in love with Pallavi (Gayatri Bharadwaj). One day Pallavi was kidnapped by goons. Her soul separates from her body and goes to a teddy bear. Finally, how Pallavi gets her soul with the help of Adhithya is all about the film.
The film starts quite well, but very soon the film loses interest with an outdated narration. Despite a few action blocks, and a few scenes with Teddy, the film has nothing to entertain.
Allu Sirish performed well, Gayatri Bharadwaj was ok, Azmal was decent and the rest of the cast was just ok. San Anton failed to engage the audiance.
Overall, Buddy is an average action drama that can be watched for once.
