A new ott telugu movie Vidya Vasula Aham has finally been released on Aha Video starring Rahul Vijay and Shivani Rajashekar as the leads. In this romantic comedy flick directed by Manikanth Gelli, Kalyan Malik composed the music while Akhil Valluri cranked the camera. Navya Mahesh M., Ranjith Kumar Kodali, and Chandana Katta are the film’s producers. Let’s get into the review and know whether the film is worth watching or not.
The story is about Vasu (Rahul Vijay), a mechanical engineer, whose parents are trying to tie the knot as soon as possible. Vidya (Shivani Rajashekhar), is an ambitious girl who is very particular about her life partner,. Somehow, the duo gets married, and one fine day, ego takes the front seat and starts affecting their relationship. Finally, how they cope with the situation is the crux of the story.
Movies with a backdrop of ego are not new for us and this Vidya Vasula Aham also offers nothing new. The wafer-like storyline and predictable narration make us feel bored at the very beginning. Though, the film has its moments here and there, although on the whole, it’s a boring flick.
Rahul Vijay as Vasu is okay at some parts but could have performed well. Shivani, as Vidya, is also good at some parts. The rest of the cast did their roles well.
Director Manikanth Gelli chooses a contemporary story but fails to engage with captivating narration. Overall, Vidya Vasula Aham is a one-time-watch rom-com. If you have nothing left to watch this weekend, then go for it; otherwise, skip it.
